SCOOBY-DOO DINOSAURS!
WB Animation Character Design, SCOOBY-DOO AND THE LEGEND OF THE PHANTOSAUR Direct-to-Video Animated Feature, various dinosaur creatures.
While working on other projects, I was approached by the Scooby production crew to help out with dinosaur design, including a gigantic spooky Phantosaur (combining "phantom," and "dinosaur"). It was both a challenge and a thrill to be able to draw dinosaurs. I'm a huge fan of the movie, "JURASSIC PARK," as well as the original Michael Crichton novel. It was immensely helpful to have toy figurines (manufactured by PAPO) as reference and inspiration, as these figurines are directly modeled after the dinosaurs appearing in the Spielberg film. I must also acknowledge the great works of artists William Stout, Mark "Crash" McCreery, and Ricardo Delgado. This job was-- like-- Wow! A real blast! Check it out!
