GET JIRO!: JERRY

WBAnimation Character Design, GET JIRO!, Jerry.
Media: Digital Art.

In the original graphic novel, Jerry is the big goon love interest for Rose. I had some fun adapting him from the Langdon Foss artistic depiction. When Jerry goes into battle, however, I replaced his bandolier of wooden spoons with a bandolier of herbs and spices, in keeping with the humorous culinary theme.

Alas! The producers decided to go in another direction, conjuring up an all-new character, Freddy, as a lesbian love interest for Rose. Jerry survives thus far as a silent background flunky in the opening episodes of -- GET JIRO!
