USM: WATER OGRE

Marvel Animation Character Design, ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN, Water Ogre.

In the Season Four episode entitled, "Force of Nature," the villain Hydro-Man creates a gigantic Water Ogre to menace Spider-Man and his teammates. I've colored this model up long after the fact, as another Photoshop exercise. Inspiration for this creature was found in the Id Monster briefly appearing in the classic science fiction film FORBIDDEN PLANET (1956).
