My privileged assignment was to assist legendary artist David Edward Byrd on his project, illustrating collector's edition Oz plates. I provided the tonal under-drawing, and the Byrd-Man finished it up as a "painting," rendering the colors and background with colored pencil. It was a remarkable creative collaboration.
