A very kind waitress at a favorite hot dog diner asked me to draw her dog that had recently died. My friend roped me into it, but I couldn't disappoint her, even though I avoided working on it for over a year. She didn't begrudge me this at all, and she was so happy to finally receive it. She was a classy lady.
