Unused WB Marketing Style Guide Art, HARRY POTTER.

This was illustrated prior to the film series. The preliminary rough sketch was done by my friend, artist David Williams, and I took it to this final level. This art wound up in limbo simply because it did not resemble the art from the novels (those wonderfully stylish pastels by Mary Grandpré), nor did it capture the likeness of the actor soon to grace the big screen. Quite often, the decisions made by executives in committee defy all logic, and the expense for their poor judgment is truly staggering.
