BETTIE PAGE: UNBOUND #9

It's been a long time since I did any comics art, outside of inking the work of other artists. And this is only my second attempt at "Good Girl" art. Drawing the legendary Betty Page is a most intimidating honor.

They left it up to me to come up with a concept. Reflecting on Ms. Page's unfulfilled dreams of being a star in Hollywood, I decided to depict her "crashing" into the big screen sci-fi monster scene, as she innocently snatches the affections from a Creature From The Black Lagoon knock-off, causing the Gill-Man to dump Julie Adams?

This is my black-and-white tonal study, which I feel is more befitting the scenario focusing on a black-and-white classic movie. I hope you like it!
