DC: STAR TREK: HARRY MUDD RETURNS

DC Comics Cover Art, STAR TREK #24.

This illustration was for a 40-page issue celebrating the 25th anniversary of the television series, and featured a cavalcade of comics industry luminaries contributing essays, and pin-up art to accompany the epic story entitled, "Target Mudd." Since we were not legally able to use the likeness of actor Roger C. Carmel, I was obliged to design a rotund and jovial version of the Harry Mudd character of my own for this illustration.
I was a montage maniac in those days.
